Leg MassageEvery time you apply body lotion repeat this massage sequence to improve circulation and skin texture, and ease stiff knee joints. 1. Sit on the floor, legs out in front of you. Bend the knee of one leg, keeping the foot flat on the floor. With hands either side of your leg, stroke smoothly and firmly upward from your ankles to the tops of your thighs. Repeat five times on each leg. 2. With alternate hands, kneed each thigh, rhythmically squeezing and releasing. Then stroke upward several times from the knee, one hand following the other. 3. Massage around each knee with circular fingertip movements. Stroke gently at first, then apply gentle pressure as you stroke. Finally stroke gently upward behind the knee. 4. Kneed each calf muscle with hands, gently lifting and squeezing it away from the bone. Then stroke gently up the back of the leg |
